Crystal Chamber: Blade Color Guide

While LED-powered sabers often look almost exactly like the movie versions when photographed, the truth of the matter is that cameras typically over expose their bright blades, washing out their true colors and creating a white core effect that simply is not possible with current technology. Since many new saber buyers may not be aware of this effect, it is important for people to have realistic expectations before leaping into the hobby.

In order to bring some clarity to the situation, I’ve captured the images below. As closely as possible, these represent the true colors of various blade/LED configurations from different sabersmiths. I will continue to add to this page as I bring in new sabers.
